Sunday Collection: The Collection last Sunday came to £1445.   As always we appreciate very much your kindness to us here at The Graan.    There will be a Development Collection taken up after Communion today.                                      Today is the 26th Sunday of the Year.

 

Friday 2nd is the first Friday of the month. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 10am – 5pm.

 

Harvest Thanksgiving this year will be on next weekend. I’ll know you’ll be as generous as you always have been and bring in plenty of fruits of the earth for display in our church. They will be given to the poor.You may bring in non-perishables anytime. We will donate all food to the St Vincent de Paul to distribute to the poor of the area on Sunday evening the 4th. This year the collection will go towards helping the Refugee crisis in Europe. We will forward our contribution to one of the Helping Agencies. It will be a good opportunity to make a generous contribution in this humanitarian crisis.  

 

The Graan Dinner Dance - Friday November the 27th November at the Killyhelvin Hotel with Johnny Brady and his band playing. The Dinner Dance tickets will cost £30.00 each and are available at reception today.

Our Raffle tickets are available at the porch doors also. Please take a book or two to sell to your friends.  

Ticket Selling this year takes place: ASDA 21st, 22nd & 23rd   October. Dunnes 19th, 20th & 21st   November. TESCO – 18th & 19th Nov. Please leave your name & number at reception if you can help.  

 

Bereavement Night will be held on Monday 2nd November @ 8pm.

Confessions & duty: Tues – Fri inclusive 2pm – 5pm. Saturday 5pm – 6pm.

Mon - Friday Mass @ 8pm. Saturday - Vigil @ 6.30pm. Sunday 10.30am, 12noon & 4pm.

DUTY FOR THE WEEK: Sun & Mon: No Duty. Mon Mass @ 8pm: Brian. Tues: - Augustine. Wed: Brian.

Thur: Victor. Mass: Brian Fri: Victor. Mass: Brian. Sat: Brian.   (Celebrants may change as circumstances dictate).

October Rota Reminder: Could all Eucharistic Ministers & Readers please check the rota for October. If for some reason you are unable to carry out your ministry please try to find a replacement.

Fundraiser for Botha Parish in the Ceili House on Saturday 3rd October @ 8pm. All welcome

A NOVENA TO MARY, UNTIER Of KNOTS will begin on Monday 28 September next in the Cathedral of SS. Patrick & Felim in Cavan and continue for nine consecutive nights concluding Tuesday 6 October. Novena Mass each evening at 7:30p.m. except Sunday 4 October when there will be Novena Devotions. The theme of this year's Novena is "Witnessing by Doing Good".
