Sunday Collection: The Collection came to £1501.    Thanks as always for your great generosity.  

The will be a Development Collection taken up after Communion today.


Today is the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. In today’s readings we hear of the generosity of two widows. Today we pray that we may be equally generous and unafraid to give, trusting that the Lord will provide.

Bereavement Night: Thanks to everyone who helped make it a prayerful and helpful experience.


Just three weeks to The Graan Dinner Dance - Friday November the 27th November at the Killyhelvin Hotel with Johnny Brady and his band The Dinner Dance tickets cost £30.00 each and are available at reception today. It will be on a first come first served basis and it is not possible to reserve Dinner Dance tickets. It’s “Sale” only. Refunds will not be possible after November 20th. Time is running out – it’s less than 3 weeks to the draw.

Our Raffle tickets are available at the porch doors also. Please take a book or two to sell to your friends.

Ticket Selling: Thanks to all those who have volunteered to sell at Dunnes and Tesco. You will be notified shortly.

Spot Prizes: As always we are looking for spot prizes for the dinner dance. Contact us if you have a Spot Prize and we will collect it or if you can leave it in at the front door of the Monastery with your name and address clearly written on it, we will be most grateful. Every spot prize will be given away on the night.

Here is an extract from the book. I was in a religious bookshop and I noticed a book by Frederick Buechner. He’s a writer I like and I was struck by the following quote: ‘When you confess your sins to God, you are not telling God anything he doesn’t already know.”

The Fermanagh Churches Forum course of seminars, Still Up for the Challenge? Reconciliation in a Crisis Society, facilitated by Dr. Johnston McMaster, continues on Thursday 12th November, at 8pm prompt in the Waterways Ireland headquarters on the Sligo Road. All are very welcome, entrance is free, including refreshments. No booking required.

LordGod, whose days are without end and whose mercies beyond counting, keep us mindful that life is short and the hour of deathunknown. Let your Spirit guide our days on earth in the ways of holiness and justice, that we may serveyou in union with the whole Church, sure in faith, strong in hope, perfect in love.
