Happy Christmas-: For those who can’t be with us on Christmas Day we wish you every blessing in this Holy Season. Thank you for all your support during 2015 which was a difficult year for many. We pray that we will have peace and happiness in our lives and in our families this Christmas and New Year.

Today is the Fourth Sunday of Advent.

St Michael’s Scout Band will play at the 4pm Mass today Sunday.

They will also play at the Christmas Eve Vigil Mass beginning with carols at 7.30pm in preparation for the blessing of the crib @ 7.50pm and Mass @ 8pm.

Christmas Day will be at 9am, 10.30am, 12noon. There will be no Mass at 4pm on Christmas Day.

Confession Times: Mon 21st, Tues 22nd, Wed 23rd 2pm – 5pm.

Christmas Eve confessions will be heard from 1pm – 5pm. Please come early in the week to ease the burden. The church will close at 5pm on Christmas in preparation for the Vigil Mass. It will reopen at 7pm.

Remembering the Dead at Christmas: We have had so many requests to pray for deceased family members that already there are two full pages of names. Obviously we are unable to include the names individually on our Christmas Day bulletin this year. Instead we will record all the names and place them beside the Christmas Family Tree (Ie: the Jesse Tree). They will be prayed for at all our Christmas Masses as usual. We have also enrolled each and every one of them on our Passionist Mass Guild to be prayed for at daily Mass throughout the year. Please continue to submit the names of your loved. They are placed in a special petition box beside the Jesse Tree.

Christmas Mass Bouquets: It isn’t too late yet to purchase your Christmas Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. Enrolling your family and friends on our daily Mass Guild makes a special Christmas gift.

Fr Brian’s new book ‘And Catch the Heart off Guard’ is now available. Price £11 or €13. Thankfully it is a bestseller throughout Ireland. All proceeds got to Refugee Agencies. It will make a superb present coming up to Christmas.
