Sunday Collection: Thank you for your continued generosity to The Graan. The collection amounted to £1520. The Development Collection will be taken up after communion today.  Sincere thanks as always for your generosity.

Today is the Baptism of the Lord.

Novena of Hope: From 27th/28th Feb – 7th March 2016. Our first meeting will be on Monday18th Jan @ 8.30pm.

Cleaning Group: Our church cleaning team did a superb job on Wednesday. We are grateful to all our voluntary cleaners for their hard work and loyalty.

DUTY FOR THE WEEK: Sunday & Monday No Duty. Mass @ 8pm – Brian. Tuesday – Victor. Wed: Brian.   Thur – Augustine. Fri – Augustine / Victor. Mass: Augustine.   Sat – Brian.

Masses 16th & 17th Vigil 6.30pm: Augustine. 10.30am: Brian. 12noon: Brian & 4pm – Victor.

 

Christmas Crib: Be sure to visit our Graan Crib when you visit our Church. Thanks to all who leave contributions for the poor at the Crib. It will be distributed next week to St Vincent de Paul.

 

Eucharistic Ministers: We are looking for new Eucharistic Ministers to assist at all Masses in The Graan. Please leave your name and number at reception today if you would like to become a minister. We will be having a meeting with our new Ministers on Monday 18th January @ 7pm here at The Graan.

 

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament continues each Friday from 10am – to 5pm in our Church at The Graan.

 

Prayer Groups At The Graan: Prayers before the Blessed Sacrament is held on Tuesdays @ 8.30pm.

Meditation Prayer Group - Wednesdays @ 8.30pm.

Charismatic Prayer Group - Thursdays @ 8.30pm.

Anam Cara meets monthly. Our next meeting is on next Saturday 16th @ 2pm.

Passionist Companions: Meet on the last Friday of each month at 8.30pm.

 

Lent & Easter: We may have just finished celebrating Christmas, but Lent begins on the 10th of February (Ash Wednesday). Easter Sunday is on the 27th March.

 

A Group to help bereaved parents is holding its monthly Parent Evening on Thurs 14th January 2016 from 19:30 to 21:00 in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

 

Equality for St Fanchea’s Pupils Parents Community: Parents and Pupils attending St Fanchea’s College are invited to show their support for the Campaign for Equality for St Fanchea’s pupils. Please come along today Sunday at St Fanchea’s College 2 – 3.30pm (years 8 – 10) and 4 – 5.30pm (years 11 – 14). Parents can attend either sessions.
