6th March 2016

Sunday Collection:As always you were most generous last Sunday. It came to £1850. The Development collection came to £610 and the surplus is used to help defray the many costs of the Novena of Hope.

There will be a Development Collection take up next Sunday 13th March.

Today is the 5th Sunday in Lent. It is also Mother’s Day.

Novena Collection: We didn't have any collections during our Novena because our Novena is about prayer and hope and not money. The numbers attending all week were astounding. That is sufficient reward in itself. However I know you like to help defray the cost which will be around £12,000. There will be an opportunity at both the 12.30pm and 8pm Services tomorrow to make a contribution towards the running costs of the Novena. Whatever you can give will be gratefully received and if you cannot afford anything please don’t worry, your presence is the best contribution possible. Thanks to all who have already been so generous.

Thanks to all our guest speakers.   Each shared the special gifts God gave them and they shared them generously.

Fr Brendan Mc Manus will speak at 10.30am & 12noon & 4pm today. Dr Ian Ellis from Rossorry will be the speaker at the Services tomorrow at 12.30pm and 8pm. Archdeacon Cecil Pringle will join us at both services on Monday.

Thanks: We would like to thank all those who helped with the Novena. In particular we want to thank those who went to such lengths preparing and assisting at all the special services.

Thanks to the Priests. Thanks to all the priests who helped us at the Penitential Services and the Services for the Sick. Particular thanks to Frs Niall Martin, Gabriel Kelly, Jimmy Mc Philips, Peter O Reilly, Seamus Quinn, Raymond Donnelly & Larry Dawson. It is deeply appreciated. Not forgetting our Passionist priests - in particular Frs Pat Duffy, Frank Trias, Ralph Eagan, Joe Kennedy, and all of our Community.
