Collection: The collection came to £1702. The Development Collection came to £598. There will be a special collection taken up at all the Masses next Sunday for the support of the Community here at The Graan. Thank you for being so generous.

 

Today is Palm Sunday. Palms are blessed before each Mass today, and you are invited to come up after Mass and take a small piece of palm to be kept in your home during the year. This is the beginning of Holy Week and a special time for all who attend our Passionist church. We invite you to spend as much of Holy Week as you can with us as we re-live the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus.

 

Easter Mass Bouquets: We have a wide selection of Easter Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. Enrolling your family and friends on our daily Mass Guild makes a special Easter gift. We also have a new selection of cards for Deceased cards, Mass Bouquet, Get Well, Birthday and Exam cards too.

 

Holy Week & Easter Leaflets: Please take a leaflet with you. It includes the times of our Services.

Confessions for Holy Week: There will be Confessions here tomorrow Monday to Wednesday 2-5pm. Thursday 2pm – 4.45pm.

Friday Confessions are 1pm – 2.45pm and 4pm – 5pm. We’ll have a Penance Service @ 8pm. Confessions on Holy Saturday will be from 2pm - 5pm.     There will be Stations of the Cross in the church @ 7.30pm Mon, Tues & Wed this week.

 

Holy Thursday there will be Mass at 5pm. The Mass of The Lord's Supper will be at 8pm. There will be a Holy Hour from 10 to 11pm. Everyone is invited to join us on this Holy night. Eucharistic Ministers are expected to attend the Hour Holy so that they can renew their commitment.

Good Friday: Is a day of fast and abstinence for all. On Good Friday the Liturgical Service is at 3pm. Reflections for Good Friday @ 8pm - Fr Brian & Brian Mc Kee on the Passion of Christ including the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

 

The Easter Vigil will be at 7.50pm on Holy Saturday. It usually lasts just over an hour and fifteen minutes.

Easter Sunday Masses. The Masses are 10.30am, 12 noon, and 4pm.

 

Post Easter Arrangements:On Easter Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th & Wednesday 30th there will be no Duty / Confessions. Mass will be at 11am only. There will be no evening Mass. Duty will resume on Thursday 31st March from 2pm – 5pm with Mass at 8pm. The shop will be closed on Easter Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 12noon.

Blessing of Babies: We have arranged to have the Blessing of Babies on Monday 2nd May at 11am Mass. Many parents have been asking about this special occasion. We look forward to seeing you all there.

 

Divine Mercy Devotions: Sunday 3rd of April the Feast of ‘Divine Mercy’ at 7pm here at The Graan. There will be Chaplet and Rosary, Sermon on Mercy, Veneration of Image, Blessing with relic of St Faustina and Benediction.

 

Life in the Spirt Retreat – here at The Graan each Thursday at 8.30pm from 14th April - 19th May,

 

Aisling Centre: Poems of 1916 – remembering the Somme and the Rising with Rosemarie Keenan. Each Tuesday from 5th - 26th April, 2.00pm – 4.00pm.  All welcome - For info contact the Aisling Centre – 028 6632 5811.

Botha CCE: Music session on Sunday 20th March 6.30pm-8.30pm in Tir Navar. Musicians, dancers and singers from around the county are very welcome to attend as are those who enjoy listening to music. Light refreshments served.

SHOP: Please come and visit our shop today we have a wide range of Holy Communion and Confirmation cards, gifts etc, plus many more things. Bulletin: Feel free to take a bulletin home with you. They are free.
