Sunday Collection: The Collection came to £1605. Thank you for your kind contributions as always. There will be a Development Collection taken up after communion today.

Provincial Chapter 2016: Took place in Portarlington this week. Fr James Sweeney was elected as Provincial. The Provincial Consultors are Frs Bernard Lowe, Paul Francis Spencer, Brendan Mc Keever and Charles Cross.

 

Friday is the First Friday of the month. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament every Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Confessions & duty Tues – Fri inclusive, 2pm – 5pm. Saturday 5pm – 6pm. Mon - Fri Mass 8pm.

 

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Special Occasion and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.

 

New Altar Servers: Any boy or girl who has received First Holy Communion and is interested in becoming an Altar Server please leave your name, address and phone number at the Monastery reception this week. Carmel Magee will contact you immediately. We will hold the installation and blessing of Altar Servers next Sunday July 3rd @ 10.30am.

 

Fr Gary Donegan will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of his Ordination to priesthood with a public Mass at 8pm on Friday 1st July followed by a special blessing with the relic of St Charles of Mount Argus in St Mary’s Church Newtownbutler.  Refreshments will be served afterwards in the parish Hall.  All are welcome to attend.

Fri – Anthony. Sat – Anthony.   (All duty is subject to change if an emergency occurs.)

Passionist Feast 1st July – The Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. PRAYER: Lord our God, the precious blood of your Son has redeemed us. Watch over the gifts your love has given us. Keep before our eyes the mystery of Christ so that we may reap its harvest in all its richness. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

JULY READERS AND MINISTERS: It’s important during the summer that all readers and ministers are present for the Masses they have been assigned to. If for some reason you can’t be here please do all you can to ensure a substitute stands in for you.

Cathal Buí Festival 2016: BLACKLION COMMUNITY ARTS AND HERITAGE FESTIVAL From Wed 29th June - Mon 4th July.. Away back in ‘The Black’ on Thursday 30th June. Walks and Talks Fri 1st July evening, Sat 2nd July morning and Sun 3rd July afternoon.   Walks and Talks Fri 1st July evening, Sun 3rd July Seamus O Rourke’s play ‘Indigestion’ at 8pm.. Please pick up a leaflet about the festival at reception today.

 

Clogher Pilgrimage to Lourdes: A meeting has been organised on Wed 29th June @ 8pm in St Ronan’s Parish Centre, Lisnaskea for all who are booked on the upcoming Pilgrimage on July 6th. Travel documents etc will be distributed at this meeting.
