There will be a Development Collection taken up next Sunday (14th).

 

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Every Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Confessions & duty: Tuesday – Friday inclusive 2pm – 5pm. Saturday: 5pm – 6pm.

Monday to Friday Mass: 8pm.

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Special Occasion and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.

 

DUTY FOR THE WEEK: Mon – No duty. Mass @ 8pm – Brian. Tues – Brian. Wed – Augustine.

Thurs – Augustine / Anthony. Mass: Anthony. Fri – Anthony. Sat – Anthony.

(All duty is subject to change if an emergency occurs.)

Masses: 13th & 14th August Vigil 6.30pm: Anthony. 10.30am: Brian. 12noon: Brian & 4pm: Augustine.  

 

Feasts of the Week: Monday - St Dominic, founder of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans). Born in Spain in 1170 and died in 1221. Tuesday - St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. She is better known as Edith Stein. She was a Jewish philosopher who became a Catholic and later a Carmelite Nun. She died in the gas chambers in Auschwitz in 1942. Wednesday - St Lawrence. Thursday - St Clare. She influenced St Francis of Assisi and founded the various branches of the Poor Clare Nuns. Friday - St Attracta & St. Muredach.

 

Church Cleaning Group: Met last Wednesday evening. We thank them and all our cleaning groups for their continued hard work and dedication in cleaning the church.

 

Belcoo Annual sports and festival  10th – 17th August – a packed week with a range of events including a table quiz, car treasure hunt, bingo, waterpark adventure day, OMG Foundation athletics and cycle and much more.  Highlight of the week is the 69th Traditional Sports Day on Saturday 13th August followed by dancing in the festival marquee to Mick Flavin.

Prayer Groups At The Graan: Exposition and Devotions on Tuesdays @ 8.30pm.

Meditation Prayer Group on Wednesdays @ 8.30pm. Charismatic Prayer Group takes place on Thursdays @ 8.30pm.        Passionist Companions: Meet on the last Friday of each month at 8.30pm.
