THE GRAAN WEEKLY BULLETIN

14th August 2016

Sunday Collection: The Collection came to £1690. Thank you for your kind contributions as always.

There will be a Development Collection taken up after Communion today.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Every Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Confessions & duty: Tuesday – Friday inclusive 2pm – 5pm. Saturday: 5pm – 6pm. Monday to Friday Mass: 8pm.

FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION: Tomorrow Monday is the feast of Mary’s Assumption: It means that in Mary’s case we believe that she was taken up body and soul into Heaven. It was not fitting that the body of Mary, who was preserved free from sin by God’s grace, should suffer decay in a grave. There is no record of veneration of the body of Mary in the early church.

It is a Holy Day of Obligation and Masses are: Monday 10.30am: Brian.   12 Noon: Augustine.   8pm: Brian.

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Special Occasion and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.

Prayer for good weather:All powerful and ever living God, we find security in your forgiveness. Give us fine weather we pray, so that we may rejoice in your gifts of kindness and use them always for your glory and our good. Amen
