Sunday Collection: The Collection came to £1455.   Thank you for your kind contributions as always.  There will be a Development Collection taken up after Communion today.

 

Confessions & duty: Tues – Fri inclusive 2pm – 5pm. Saturday 5pm – 6.15pm.

Mon - Friday Mass @ 8pm. Saturday - Vigil @ 6.30pm. Sunday 10.30am, 12noon & 4pm.

The Graan Dinner Dance will be held on Friday November 25th at the Killyhelvin Hotel with The Conquerors.

The Dinner Dance tickets will cost £35.00 each and will be available shortly as will the Raffle tickets.        

Ticket Selling this year takes place: Dunnes 17th, 18th & 19th   November. TESCO – 16th & 17th November.

 

Harvest Thanksgiving this year will be on the weekend of 8th / 9th of October. I’ll know you’ll be as generous as you always have been and bring in plenty of fruits of the earth for display in our church. You may bring in non-perishables anytime. We will donate all food to the St Vincent de Paul to distribute to the poor of the area on Sunday evening the 4th.

 

Bereavement Night will be held on Monday 7th November @ 8pm.

Novena of Hope 2017:. Dates: 18th/19th – 27th March. Please put it in your diary.

Wednesday is the feast of Triumph of the Cross. St Helena discovered the Cross on which Jesus was crucified. The feast was celebrated as far back as the 4th Century. We will have blessing with our Relic of The True Cross after 8pm Mass on Wednesday. Thursday is the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, the patron of the Passionist Congregation.

Culture Night 2016 & Aisling Centre Open Night, Friday 16th September 5pm – 8pm

Drop In and Enjoy -Visual Arts Open Trail, with Paintings, Photographs & Animation, meet the artists, enjoy poetry readings, entertainment with Esther Janzen & Ian Smith, Art Exhibition by the Island Artists.  Meet the Aisling Centre Team. Septembers Church Cleaning Group: Thanks to our Church Cleaning Groups he did a superb job as always.

 

First Profession:We congratulate Antony Connelly and Aidan O'Kane who will make their First Profession as Passionists in Holy Cross, Ardoyne, today during 12 noon Mass.

A Triduum in preparation for the feast of St Padre Pio takes place in Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh from Sept 20th to 23rd. Mass, Homily & Blessing with relic @ 7.30pm. Preacher: Fr Pius Mc Laughlin OFM.

 

The Green Platform by Declan Coyle: We have obtained some copies of Declan Coyle’s book The Green Platform. They cost £13 and are available at the shop today. We also got a limited number of his latest book Living The Green Platform also priced @ £13.

 

The Shop:You are invited to visit our shop. There is a wide range of religious objects and gifts as well as copies of Fr Brian’s books and CD’s of our regular singers. The shop is open every day from 9.30am until Mass time in the evening. You can also enrol your intentions in our Mass Guild during those hours. We have a new selection of cards available.
