THE GRAAN WEEKLY BULLETIN

12th February 2017

Sunday Collection: Thank you for your continued generosity to The Graan. The collection amounted to £1850.

The Development Collection taken up after Communion today.

Today is the 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Tuesday is St Valentine. It's a day when we celebrate the gift of love in our lives. We should be grateful for 1) God's love for us 2) our love for one another 3) our love for ourselves.

Here is a prayer on St Valentine's Day: "God of love you give us many people who are examples of love in our lives. As we celebrate the feast of St Valentine, we ask you to bless all those who touch our lives. May the love we share and experience make this world a better place for all."

Novena of Hope: 18th /19th March – 27th March. Our next meeting is tomorrow Monday 13th at 8.30pm. The Novena posters and leaflets are ready for collection on that evening so it’s important to get the Novena off to a good start by publicising it. We need your help. Other meetings for your diary are 13th & 20th March.

The Novena leaflets: Please take a petition leaflet home with you from the Church porches and return them in good time so they can be placed on the altar during the Novena.

Eucharistic Ministers: We are looking for additional Eucharistic Ministers to assist at all Masses in The Graan. Please leave your name and number at reception this weekend if you would like to become a minister. We will be having a meeting with our new Ministers tomorrow Monday 13th February @ 7pm here at The Graan.

Days for the Sick: We’d like you to sign the register at the front door if you can help in any way. Almost anybody could help out by preparing plates, looking after the sick and helping to clean up afterwards. You don’t have to be an expert to help. Even if you have volunteered before please do sign the register again as soon as possible.

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Easter, With Thanks, Special Occasion and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.
