Novena of Hope:The Novena begins today. You’ll get all the information on the Novena leaflet available in all porches today Please take one with you and keep it safe for the week. The Novena is open to everyone, no matter what age or religion. Everyone is welcome. A special word of welcome to people who may be struggling with their faith in trying times.

Novena Meeting:We will have a final meeting tomorrow night after the Novena service in the Prayer Room, to check on the arrangements for the Days of the Sick. We ask as many as possible to come to this short meeting.

Children Drawings: As you can see there are many children’s drawings with the theme of hope all around the church. Thanks to the children and their teachers for preparing such beautiful artwork.

Car Park: Thanks to all those who have volunteered to help in the car parks. There are men and women working hard in the car park each day. Please make sure to co-operate with their instructions. Let me remind you that it is a one-way system. You will cause chaos, if you try to break that one-way system. Please obey the stewards.

Duty:There will be a priest available each day of the Novena from 1.30pm to 5pm.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament:During the week of the Novenathere will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 2pm – 5pm on Monday 20th. Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th and Monday 27th March.  

Valuables in your Car: Please do not leave any valuables in your cars during any services here at The Graan. Be especially vigilant not to leave handbags, keys or phones visible.

Food for Days for the Sick. Please bring in biscuits, bought buns, tray bakes & cakes. No sandwiches, scones or fadge bread please. (Health and Safety requirements.)


Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Novena of Hope, Get Well, Birthday, Easter, Special Occasion and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.


Passionist Vocations: A weekend retreat for young men interested in knowing more about life as a priest or brother in the Passionist Community will be held at the Passionist Monastery, Tobar Mhuire, Crossgar, starting Friday, 31 March and concluding with lunch on Sunday, 2 April.
