Sunday Collection: Thank you for your continued generosity to us here at The Graan. We deeply appreciate your kindness. The Collection came to £1602.       The Development collection came to £545.

 

Bank Holiday Monday: We will have our Bank Holiday Mass at 11am followed by Blessing of Babies. At the end of Mass we will bless the oil and then bless each baby with blessed oil.

There will be no Evening Mass @ 8pm. The shop will be open until 12NOON only.

Friday is the First Friday of the month. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament all day from 10am until 5pm. Confessions from 2pm to 5pm. Confessions Tuesday to Friday 2- 5pm. Saturday 5pm – 6.15pm.

 

Irish Language Collection: There will a Church Door Collection at all the Masses here at The Graan next Sunday (7th) taken up by Enniskillen Gaels Club at all Masses to.

The May Rosarywill be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto each evening at 7.30pm. All welcome.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Every Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Confessions & duty: Tuesday – Friday inclusive 2pm – 5pm. Saturday: 5pm – 6pm. Monday to Friday Mass @ 8pm.

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Special Occasion, With Thanks and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.

 

DUTY FOR THE WEEK: No Duty. Bank Holiday Mon – Mass @ 11am only. Duty 2 - 5pm. Tues: Arthur.   Wed: Victor. Thurs – Arthur. Fri - Anthony. Sat – Anthony.

Masses 6th & 7th: Vigil 6.30pm: Anthony.   10.30am: Brian. 12noon: Brian & 4pm – Victor.

Prayer for preparation to study: Lord, I know that you are with me and that you love me. / Give me peace of mind as I prepare

for this time of study. / Help me to focus on my books and notes, and keep me free from all distractions so that I will make the best use of this time that is available to me. / Give me insight that I might understand what I am studying, and help me to remember it when exam time comes. / Above all, I thank you for the ability to be able to study and for the many gifts and talents you have given me. / Help me always to use them in such a way that they honour you and do justice to myself.   Amen.

 

Prayer Groups At The Graan: Exposition and Devotions on Tuesdays @ 8.30pm.

Meditation Prayer Group on Wednesdays @ 8.30pm. Charismatic Prayer Group takes place on Thursdays @ 8.30pm.

Passionist Companions: Meet on the last Friday of each month at 8.30pm.  

 

Feasts of the Week: Mon – Joseph the Worker. Wed –St Philip & St James, Apostles. Fri - Bl Edmund Rice was born in Kilkenny. After his young wife’s early death, he sold his possessions and dedicated his life to the education of the poor. To advance the work, he gathered other like-minded men who took religious vows together to work for the Catholic education of boys.

 

Confirmation and Holy Communion: This is the time when many of our young people are making their First Holy Communion and also their Confirmation. Congratulations to you all.

Dr Eamon Phoenix will deliver a lecture on The Life and Times of Cahir Healy, Gaelic scholar and politician, in Enniskillen Library of Monday 8th May @ 8pm. All welcome.

The Shop is open from Monday to Friday –9.30am – 8.30pm. Sat – 9.30am – 7pm and Sun - 9.30am – 5pm.
