Sunday Collection: The Collection came to £1700. Thank you for your kind contributions as always. There will be a Development Collection taken up after Communion today.

FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION: Tuesday is the feast of Mary’s Assumption: It means that in Mary’s case we believe that she was taken up body and soul into Heaven. It was not fitting that the body of Mary, who was preserved free from sin by God’s grace, should suffer decay in a grave. There is no record of veneration of the body of Mary in the early church. Masses are: Monday 8pm:Arthur.   Tuesday 10.30am: Augustine. 12 Noon: Brian   8pm: Brian.

Feasts of the Week: Monday: St Maximillian Kolbe. He was a Franciscan priest who was a famous writer and journalist of his time. He worked in Japan but during the Second World War he was arrested and died in Auchvitz, having volunteered to take the place of a young father. The young father survived and Fr Kolbe was sent to the gas chamber. The young father was present in Rome on the day of his beatification. Tuesday: The Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary. Wednesday: St Stephen of Hungary. Saturday: St John Eudes.


Belcoo Sports & Festival continues until the 15th August with a range of events including Tues 15th Sports Day starting with parade from Community Centre 1.30pm


On August 18th Erne Vintage Charity Run had nominated Fermanagh Affiliated Down's Syndrome Support Group as there charity this year!
