Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Every Friday from 10am to 5pm.

Confessions & duty: Tuesday – Friday inclusive 2pm – 5pm. Saturday: 5pm – 6pm. Monday to Friday Mass: 8pm.

Exams:Congratulations to all those who got results in their exams this year. Even if you didn’t get the results you expected, don’t let it worry you too much. There’s a long life ahead of you. It’s a time to think about your life and your future. Can you do better? What direction should you take? Make positive

 

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Special Occasion, Exams, With Thanks Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.

 

DUTY: Monday: No Duty; Mass @ 8pm: Arthur. Duty 2- 5pm Tuesday – Friday. Tuesday: Arthur.

Wednesday: Augustine; Thursday: Arthur; Friday: Anthony; Saturday: Anthony.

 

The “Light A Candle” App: We are delighted to have been chosen as the testing Church for a first-of-its-kind mobile phone App, which allows a real candle to be lit in a real Church at the touch of a button from anywhere in the world. The candelabra has been positioned in front of the statue of St Paul of the Cross at the back of the church. We will be arranging an evening for testing this App and in the coming weeks and would ask anyone interested in taking part in this to contact Vera in the office – 02866322272.

Sat - Blessed Dominic of the Mother of God, born Dominic Barberi was an Italian theologian and a member of the Passionist Congregation. He was beatified by Pope Paul VI in 1963.He received Bl. Henry Newman into the Catholic Church. Sat - St Monica, mother of St Augustine. Patron St of mothers.

Prayer to Blessed Dominic Barberi, Apostle of England:Heavenly Father, through Mary, Mother of God we thank you for the life and witness of Blessed Dominic Barberi, Passionist and Apostle of Christian unity and of England. You gave him a great love for this land, the Dowry of Mary, as the Christian churches pray and work towards greater unity we ask blessed Dominic to show us the way through mutual prayer reparation and love. Through his intercession grant also the grace for which we now pray. (There are free booklets on Blessed Dominic’s life available in the display unit at the Nursing Home entrance to the church.)
