Prayer for going back to school: "Lord God giver of life as we come to a new year in school, we know that you are the one who keeps us together. Strengthen us as we face a new school year. Give us the courage we need to face the challenges ahead. May we have the wisdom to study sensibly throughout this year and the confidence to give it our best. Increase within us the ability to make friends. Help us to be a friend and to receive friendship. We thank you for the gift of schooling, for the gift of friendship and for giving yourself to us as a true friend. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord". Good luck to all pupils, parents and teachers resuming their studies this week.

Motorist’s Prayer: Grant me a ready hand, a watchful eye that none may suffer hurt as I pass by. You give us life/ I pray no act of mine may take away or mar this gift of thine. Shield those dear Lord, who bear me company from fools and fire and all calamity. Teach me to use my car for others’ need nor miss through lack of wit or love of speed, the beauties of thy world/ That thus I may with joy and courtesy go on my way. Amen.

Valuables in your Car: Please do not leave any valuables in your cars at any time at The Graan as it merely encourages criminals.
