Sunday Collection: The Collection came to £1355. Thank you for your generous contributions as always.

There will be a Development Collection taken up after Communion today.

 

Today is the second Sunday of Advent. We light our second candle on the Advent wreath this Sunday, reminding us of the hope the growing light of the coming of Christ brings into our lives and our world.

Advent Season: The Advent Season continues with Fr Charles giving a talk and discussion on the characters in the Advent story over the next 2 Tuesday nights. Tuesdays 12 & 19th at 8.30 in the Prayer Room. Everyone welcome.

 

Christmas Mass Bouquets: We have a wide selection of Christmas Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each.

 

Graan Calendar 2018:Please take a Graan Calendar home with you today. They are free of charge.

Healing Prayer – Thursday 14th December at 8.30pm in the Prayer Room. Anointing with Blesses Oil and blessing with relics of St Charles and Padre Pio. Laying-on of hands & Benediction. Everyone welcome.

Confession Time for Christmas: Please take note of these times and plan ahead to make sure you make your peace with God for Christmas. Tomorrow Monday 11th to Sat 16th Confession 2pm – 5pm.

There will be no Confessions on Sunday 18th. From Mon 18th - Fri 22nd confessions 2pm – 5pm.

Saturday 23rd confessions will be heard from 1pm – 6pm. Please come early.

There will be no Confessions on Christmas Eve (Sunday). Masses are at 10.30am, 12noon & 4pm.

 

Christmas Carol Service with Caritas: Takes place here in The Graan Church next Saturday 16th December @ 8pm. Donations on the night go to Fermanagh Stroke Support Group.

 

St Michael’s Collegeare holding a carol service in St Michael’s Church, Enniskillen on Thursday 14th December at 8pm.

 

St Michael’s Scout Bandwill play at the 4pm Mass next Sunday 17th. They will also play at the Christmas Eve Vigil Mass (Dec 24th) beginning with carols at 7.30pm in preparation for the blessing of the crib @ 7.50pm and Mass @ 8pm.    Christmas Day Masses will be at 9am. 10.30am, 12noon. There will be no Christmas Day Mass at 4pm.

 

Church Cleaning Group: Thanks to December’s Cleaning Group and indeed to all our dedicated teams for their continued hard work in 2017. This is a good time to thank all who help us in so many different ministries. We are so grateful to you all. We always encourage new members. Thanks to our Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, singers, collectors, flower arrangers, gardener, window cleaner and fundraisers. If anyone would like to become a Reader or Eucharistic Minister please leave your name, address and phone number at reception.

 

Fr Brian D’Arcy’s new book ‘Gold Collection’ will be back on sale here during the week. It costs £12.
