Sunday Collection: Thank you for your continued generosity to The Graan. The collection came to £1440.

There will be a Development Collection taken up today.

 

Eucharist Ministers: A meeting in the Prayer Room will be held for all Eucharistic Ministers serving here at The Graan tomorrow Monday 15th January at 8.30pm. The purpose of the meeting is to review, refresh, renew and recommit to this important service for the people of God, in their Eucharistic worship.

We are always looking for new Eucharistic Ministers so if you would like to become one please come and speak to one of our Community, who will assist you in your request. If we get new members a training programme will be available.

 

Novena of Hope:. Our first meeting will be on Monday 22nd January @ 8.30pm in the Prayer Room. Please put this date in your diary.

 

Readers: We teach, “When Sacred Scriptures are read in Church, God himself speaks to his people; and Christ, present in his own word, proclaims the Gospel.” (Instruction of Roman Missal No 29). To this end we will have a meeting for those who read here at the Graan on Wednesday 24th January @ 8.30pm in the old sacristy. The purpose of the meeting is to renew our commitment to this important ministry.

We are also looking for new Readers. If you would like to serve in this ministry please leave your name and telephone number at reception and we will contact you.

 

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, You Are In My Thoughts and Prayers, Birthday and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.

 

Feasts of the week: Monday – St Ita. Tuesday – St Fursa. Wednesday - St Anthony. He was born in Egypt around 260. He went into the desert to live as a hermit and to do penance. Many came to him to learn how to pray.

Thursday the 18th is the beginning of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  

Saturday is the feast of St Fabian and also of St Sebastian who was one of the earliest Christian martyrs.

Cleaning Group: Many thanks to the Church Cleaning Group who met last Wednesday evening.

 

‘Beyond the Veil,’ – poetry readings and discussion with Mags O Reilly in the Aisling Centre Enniskillen on Wednesday 17th January at 2.30pm. Tea & Coffee available. All very welcome.

 

Prayer Groups At The Graan: Prayers before the Blessed Sacrament is held on Tuesdays @ 8.30pm.

Meditation Prayer Group - Wednesdays @ 8.30pm.

Charismatic Prayer Group - Thursdays @ 8.30pm.

Passionist Companions: Meet on the last Friday of each month at 8.30pm.

 

The Shop is open from Monday to Friday –9.30am – 8.30pm. Sat – 9.30am – 7pm and Sun - 9.30am – 5pm.
