Sunday Collection: Thank you for your continued generosity to The Graan. The collection came to £1530.
There will be a Development Collection taken up after Communion today.
Friday is the First Friday of the month. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 10am until 5pm.
Confessions Tuesday to Friday 2- 5pm. Saturday 5pm – 6pm.
St Brigid’s Day - Philip Mc Grade has been making us St Brigid’s Crosses. We appreciate and are thankful to Philip for making these Crosses. They are on sale at our shop at the usual price of £1/ €1. The money will be donated to St Vincent de Paul.
St Brigid: Had a great love for the poor. Legend has it she often gave away her family’s food to those in need. When her father protested she replied, “Christ dwells in every creature.”
There was an old pagan chieftain who was dying. He had never heard of Jesus. The floor of his room was covered with rushes and when Brigid went into the room she took some of the rushes and began to make a cross. She told him about God and his love for us and how his son died on a cross. As a result he converted to the faith and died a happy man. Tradition says that those who have a St Brigid’s cross in their home will be blessed through her prayers with the protection of Christ.

Eucharist Ministers: We are looking for additional Eucharistic Ministers so if you would like to become one please come and speak to one of our Community, who will assist you in your request. If we get new members a training programme will be available.
Readers: Thanks to our readers for coming to our meeting last Wednesday. We are also looking for additional Readers. If you would like to serve in this ministry please leave your name and number at reception and we will contact you.
Novena of Hope:. Thanks for all who attended the meeting in preparation for our Novena, and for your helpful suggestions and comments. The Novena will take place this year from 3rd/4th – 12th March. Please put the following dates in your diary for our next Novena meeting - February 12th at 8.30pm. We will have our Novena posters and leaflets for collection on that evening. There will be a final preparation meeting on Monday 26th.
Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, You Are In My Thoughts and Prayers, Birthday and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each.

The Shop is open from Monday to Friday –9.30am – 8.30pm. Sat – 9.30am – 7pm and Sun - 9.30am – 5pm.
