New Altar Servers: Any boy or girl who has received First Holy Communion and is interested in becoming an Altar Server please pick up a form at reception today with the consent of their parents and guardians.

 

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Special Occasion, Thinking of You, With Thanks and Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each. We value your support.

 

DUTY & Confessions: No Duty. Mon – Mass @ 8pm - Augustine. Duty 2 - 5pm. Tues: Arthur.

Feasts of the week: Wed - St Cyril. Thurs is St Irenaeus. His name means lover of peace. Many Christians were being put to death so he taught that Christianity was about love and forgiveness not retaliation. “The Glory of God is a human being fully alive,” he said. Fri - Sts Peter and Paul.. They were the founders of the Church in Rome. Both were executed for their faith. Peter was crucified and Paul was beheaded. Sat – First Martyrs of the Church of Rome.

 

JULY READERS AND MINISTERS: It’s important during the summer that all readers and ministers are present for the Masses they have been assigned to. If for some reason you can’t be here please do all you can to ensure a substitute stands in for you.

PAPAL MASS IN THE PHOENIX PARK: Tickets for the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park, Dublin on afternoon of Sunday 26 August are online. Go to www.worldmeeting2018.ie from tomorrow the 25th. Tickets will be FREE.

Next Sunday 1 July, Rev Seán Mulligan, a native of Knockatallon, Co Monaghan, will be ordained to the Priesthood for our diocese in St Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan at 3pm. Everyone is welcome.

Cathal Buí Festival 2018: Takes place from Mon 25th June until Mon 2nd July in various locations in Blacklion and the surrounding area. Some of the events include:   a presentation on ‘UNESCO Global Geoparks and Landscape Tourism’ by Dr Kirstin Lemon on Monday; Pottery workshop on Tuesday. Mellon Educate: Support this event and help build a school in Africa. A summer craft fair takes place on Sunday July 8th (12 to 4pm) in St Michael’s Community Centre, Enniskillen. Admin free, donation to Mellon Educate.
