Sunday Collection: The collection last Sunday (23rd) came to £ 1830. Thank you for your continued generosity to The Graan. We sincerely want to thank you for your outstanding contribution to the community at the Christmas Liturgical celebrations. Your support gives us great encouragement in our effort to preach the Gospel.

Please visit our Crib here at The Graan. Donations will be donated to our local St Vincent de Paul.

 

Today Sunday 30th – Masses @ 10.30am, 12noon & 4pm. The shop will be open 9.30am – 5.30pm.

Tomorrow New Year’s Eve (Monday) – Mass @ 11am only. The shop will be open until 12noon.

Confessions will resume on Wed 2nd Jan 2019 from 2pm – 5pm. The shop will open at 9.30am - 8.30pm.

Feast of St Charles of Mount Argus – Saturday 5th Jan. Mass and Blessing with the Relic of St Charles takes place 11am on Saturday.

Feast of the Epiphany (6th Jan): Vigil (Sat) @ 6.30pm, Sun 10.30am, 12noon & 4pm.

 

St Charles of Mount Argus was born John Andrew Houben on December 11, 1821 in the village of Munstergeleen, Holland. Andrew joined the Passionists at Ere, in Belgium.  He was ordained on December 21 1850 and died in Mount Argus on January 5, 1893. His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining the Monastery and Church at Mount Argus, but were later re-interred inside the Church at Mount Argus where they still rest. Father Charles was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1988 and on June 3 2007, he was canonised by Pope Benedict XVI.

Give a Gift of Hope and Healing: The Hope, Health & Healing Well-Being Day is on Saturday 5th of January, SW College Skills Centre, Enniskillen -  Inspiring Speakers share their life stories. All proceeds from the event are being donated to The Aisling Centre counselling service. They are on sale here at the shop @ £15 each. For information contact 028 66 500750.
