Today the Feast of the Epiphany is the manifestation “showing” of Jesus as the Messiah of Israel, Son of God and saviour of the world. The great feast of Epiphany celebrates the adoration of Jesus by the Wise Men (Magi) From the East, together with his Baptism in the Jordan and the Wedding Feast of Cana.

Prayer: Most merciful Father with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day. Throughout every moment of this New Year keep me united with the Lord Jesus Christ so that I might live fully alive in the power of the eternal day of your son’s resurrection. I ask through Christ our Lord, Amen.
