Sunday Collection: Thank you for your continued generosity to The Graan. The collection came to £1615.

There will be a Development Collection taken up after communion today.

 

Today is The Baptism of The Lord: We reflect upon our own baptismal call to transform the world in God’s image; and to witness to His presence in our society.

 

Christmas Crib: The Christmas Crib collection came to £1120 and €70. It has been distributed this week to our local St Vincent de Paul to help their work with those in need. Thank you for your generosity.

 

Novena of Hope 2019: Takes place from 23rd / 24th March – 1st April. There will be a meeting on Monday 21st January in preparation for the Novena. Please keep this date in your diary.

 

Guild Mass Cards: We have a wide selection of cards for Deceased, Mass Bouquets, Get Well, Birthday, Special Occasion, Thinking of You & Exam Mass Bouquets which cost £2 / €2.50 each.

Cleaning Group: Thanks as always to all our Church Cleaning Groups. We are always looking for new volunteers to help with cleaning the church. If you would like to volunteer please leave your name and number at reception.

 

Friday’s Exposition: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament continues each Friday from 10am – to 5pm.

Vocation Retreat:A weekend retreat for young men interested in knowing more about life as a priest or brother in the Passionist Community will be held at the Passionist Monastery, Tobar Mhuire, Crossgar, County Down, beginning on the evening of Friday, 1 February and concluding with lunch on Sunday, 3 February. Prayer Groups At The Graan: Prayers before the Blessed Sacrament is held on Tuesdays @ 8.30pm.

Meditation Prayer Group - Wednesdays @ 8.30pm. Charismatic Prayer Group - Thursdays @ 8.30pm.

Passionist Companions: Meet on the last Friday of each month at 8.30pm.

 

Christian Unity Week is from 18th – 25th January 2019: A Service will take place on Thursday January24th at 7.30pm in St. Michael’s Parish Church Enniskillen.  The material for this year's celebration has been prepared by Christians in Indonesia and they have chosen as the theme ‘Justice and only justice you shall pursue’ (Deuteronomy 16: 18-20). The reflection will be given by Mgr. Joseph McGuinness, Diocesan administrator, Diocese of Clogher.

 

Feasts of the Week. Tues– St Ita called “Foster-mother of the saints of Ireland.” Wed – St Fursa, one of the great monastic missionaries from Ireland. Thurs – St Anthony, Abbot. The “father of monasticism” died 356.A.D.
