Today is the Second Sunday of Advent: Today John the Baptist appears in our readings at Mass. He speaks to us in our wilderness and his message is simply this: we must rethink our values totally. Paul tells us we are to treat one another as friends-this is a sure way to prepare for the One who is to come.

The Shop: Our shop has restocked for ChristmasThere is a wonderful selection of cribs on display as well as candles and suitable gifts for Christmas, as well as Christmas Mass Bouquets. Enrolling your family and friends on our daily Mass Guild makes a special Christmas gift. Deceased, Get Well, Thinking of You, You Are in My Thoughts Mass Bouquets are also available.

Saints of the Week: Mon: Feast of the Immaculate Conception: The long wait of humankind was completed in Mary, the first of a line of christians to give herself, by her word of consent, to the adventure of faith in Christ. Mary was prepared by God for her role in the story of salvation. She was redeemed in advance by God in a unique way by reason of the merits of her Son.
