Sunday 8th March Novena of Hope 2020
Sat – (Novena) Vigil @ 6.30pm Sunday 9am, 10.30am, 12noon & 4pm. (028 66322272) www.thegraan.com
Sunday Collection: Came to £2040 and the surplus is used to help defray the many costs of the Novena of Hope. Thanks as always for your generosity.
Novena Collection: We didn’t have any collections during our Novena because our Novena is about prayer and hope and not money. However we know you like to help defray the costs. There will be an opportunity at both the 12.30pm and 7.30pm Services tomorrow to make a contribution towards the running costs of the Novena. Whatever you can give will be gratefully received and if you cannot afford anything please don’t worry, your presence is the best contribution possible. Thanks to all who have already been so generous.
Today is the Second Sunday of Lent: Our Novena of Hope comes to a close tomorrow Monday at both 12:30 and 7:30. In today’s Gospel God unveils for them the glory of his Son. Jesus is transfigured to show us that like him we are called to persevere on following Him through the Cross into glory. The Son, transfigured on the mountain, and in the bread and wine at Mass, make his life shine on those who believe the good news.
At the closing tomorrow a special blessing will be imparted at both the 12.30pm & 7.30pm Services. Gerry Farrell will speak at the closing Services. There will be a priest available tomorrow Monday from 1.30pm to 5pm.
Thanks to all our guest speakers. Each shared the special gifts God gave them and they shared them generously.
Today Fr Antony Connelly CP – will speak at 9am, 10.30am & 12noon & 4pm today.
